A little bit of extra time to relax and not have to entertain the kids
This will be a short one.I went to pick up the kids from tennis today at 12:00 (as usual) and I was told that they are having a barbecue to celebrate their last day of lessons, and I don't need to come back until 12:45. That sounds great to me - it really lifted my day up. Because that is 45 minutes less that I have to entertain them in the day. For the rest of the day, I'm hoping that I can convince them to go downtown again and go to the buskars, or down to the library where they have crafts for kids on fridays for free. That's a long shot though - these kids are NOT readers. So we'll see. Tonight, we can watch a movie and make popcorn on the stove...hopefully everyone falls asleep early, and I can read, and then crash myself. I'm sleeping over there tonight, because the parents are going to Wolf Island and staying at a hotel there. Who knows.
I can't wait, can't wait until tomorrow. Alana is coming up for the weekend, and we're going to go out for breakfast, and then shopping for lingere for my big night with Marcus. I'm very excited. I'm a little little bit broke right now, but I'm sure that I can find a way to pull it off. Then, I'm going to relax and clean and run errands on sunday, and then it's monday, and my countdown begins! 5 days left. I remember when there was 1 month left, and I was so excited. And it's only 4 days until my birthday too, which is cool 'cause I'm going to be 20 :) I like the sound of that. 20 sounds like it's going to be a really good year for me. Things are all coming together, my summer is speeding along (even though I'm pretty much miserable!) and soon, everything will be back to the way that it should be. And until then, I have Canadian Idol and Big Brother to keep me company. And the Amazing Race. That too.
