6:38 pm - Wednesday, Jul. 30, 2003 But it was a good day - first of all, Regan got into Residence (finally) which is such a load off of his shoulders to try to find a place and ship furniture across the country. Second, he and I registered this morning for him, and he got all of the classes he wanted. Acadia's registration system is so neat - you can view how a class fits into your schedule, and it's all happy Ikea colors. I was totally jealous. But the GOOD thing is that he got all of the classes in the right semesters that he needed. And then the third good thing was that Amma and Afi took us out for back to school shopping today (will I ever get too old for that?). We each got to pick out two pairs of pants and two tops. I got a pair of cords, and some parachute pants from the gap, a red v-neck from the Gap, and a white sweater from RW. Then, w/my work money, I got a pink RW polo and a brown courderoy bucket hat from the Gap. It was a decent haul, and I'm so grateful because I wouldn't have been able to afford new clothes otherwise. Hmmm... so that's about it. it's a hot day on the island. We're having bbq burgers for dinner, and then I'm going to finish sewing my quilt. Amma says that she has some batting that I can use, which is good because it saves me a lot of money. Tomorrow - home and shopping.... friday...downtown and dads... saturday and sunday - family time, and then monday home! Back to work. It shouldn't be that bad. I need to pay my bills tonight, and deposit my cash for rent. Don't forget bri :P
