My hand is bleeeeeeeeeding
I got my new printer today! I was excited like a little girl. It didn't come with the 25$ mail in rebate form though - I'll have to call Future Shop tomorrow. I also managed to gouge my palm open on our front doorframe - the metal punctured my skin. It hurt, I was swearing in front of the kids and everything.
If I didn't have such a bad headache, I would have said that today went really well. At the very least, it went really quickly. I didn't have to work until 12:15, which gave me a lot of time to sleep, and the kids and I spent the afternoon at the pool. At three this afternoon, the humidex was at 36 degrees (and the thermometer at 30) and I DID'T HAVE MY SWIMSUIT! I was boiling, no matter what I did. And I think that tomorrow's temperature is going to be more of the same. Next time, I'll pack my suit. I can't tell yet if tomorrow is going to be a great day, or a horrible one. It's Kiera's birthday, which means that it's probably going to be more fun that other boring days. But at the same time, I have extra kids to look after (the neighbours are dumping their children on me) and I don't think there's going to be anything to do. I'll definitly need to bring some advil. And bread to feed the ducks. Maybe we can go to Victoria park in the morning? I can't think of anything else to day. Or make our own bingo games...or....come here and use my new printer for some fancy schmancy stuff. Like printing off coloring pages. Or we could make that summer scrapbook we've been talking about. It's a thought. I'll figure it out, I guess. The scrapbook is a good idea, an end of summer thing. We could draw and print pictures, and do handprints (do I have any paint for that?) and write polls and stuff. OKokok, well, lots of stuff to work on. Hopefully it goes quickly. More tomorrow. I'm excited to be going out with Nahri! I haven't actually spent time with her since last summer when we were in Vancouver together, it's going to be absolutly fantastic. I'm also a little jealous that she's not working, but that's another story for another entry. I'm exhausted, and I'm off to bed. Talk to everyone tomorrow! Ciao!
