Back to work, at least for 6 hours or so (just when I thoguht I could celebrate!)
I thought that I had the day off tomorrow, and to tell you the truth, I was pretty excited about it. A-M doesn't have work until at least thursday, which is great because my last week from hell was suddenly broken up into small manageable chunks of time. But I do have to work tomorrow, at least for 5 or 6 hours. A-M wants me in at quarter after 9 and I'll probably be there until 2 again. Okokok, fine. I just don't get it, I don't see the point. Because if she is SO excited to have all of this time off to spend with her kids, why is she dumping them on me? They were going to go into Toronto tomorrow and go to Ontario Place, but its closed as well, which leaves me stuck with the juniors while she galavants around NOT spending time with her children. Lord I hope that they don't ever stumble across this online. That would be my worst fear. Oh well. I'm not complaining. Alana and Marcus both have to work full days, and I only have to work 9-3 ish. I am very grateful for that. It's just not fun to think that you have an entire day off, and then find out that you don't. I was going to go in and help sunny, but that's off too. I hope that Em still wants to go shopping. Plus, my desk comes tomorrow, and I'm super happy about that.
Today was a great day. I didn't have to work until 9:45, I only stayed until 3, I ordered the vests (FINALLY!) and I took kiera out to see Freaky Friday, which was a great great movie (even though the night was too expensive for my meagre budget). So it went well well well. I got a nap in the afternoon, and I'm just going to tidy up my room, do some dishes, fold my laundry and get to bed! Cause it looks like I have more of a day planned tomorrow than I anticipated. Right-o. Bonne soir then.
